1. Data Controller
El Dulce Origen, domiciled in Ecuador, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website. Contact: privacidad@el-dulce-origen.com
2. Data We Collect
Name, email, company, country, and message when submitting the quote request (RFQ) form. Also technical browsing data (see Cookie Policy).
3. Purpose
Quote request form data is used exclusively to handle your commercial request and follow up with you. It is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes; only the data processors described in section 5 process it on our behalf.
4. Legal Basis
Processing of quote request form data is based on the performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 7.5 Ecuador LOPDP / Art. 6.1.b EU GDPR, where applicable by the data subject's residence).
5. International Transfers
Your data is stored on servers managed by us and hosted in the United States (infrastructure provider Contabo). To operate we rely on data processors acting on our behalf: email delivery providers (Brevo), automated (AI) assistance tools that help process and draft replies to your commercial correspondence, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us through that channel. These processors only handle data to provide us their service, under their own data protection safeguards.
6. Retention
Quote data is retained for up to 2 years from the last contact, unless there is an active commercial relationship.
7. Your Rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, and portability by writing to privacidad@el-dulce-origen.com. We will respond within a maximum of 15 business days.
8. Minors
This site is not directed at minors under 15 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Complaints
You may file a complaint with Ecuador's Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data (SPDP), or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
