Private Label & Contract Manufacturing

Launch Your Chocolate Brand Without Building a Factory First

Contract manufacturing in a certified facility in Ecuador — bring your brand and recipe, we handle production.

Unbranded chocolate bars on a private label production line in Ecuador

Building a chocolate plant takes time and capital. If you want to launch, test or scale a chocolate brand before that investment makes sense, we can manufacture it for you — in a facility that already holds FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 and FDA registration, and already exports finished chocolate abroad.

What's Included

  • Contract manufacturing of chocolate and cacao-derivative products to your recipe and specification
  • Bridge production while your own plant is being built — no gap in supply to your customers
  • Small-batch runs for market testing, alongside scaled volume once demand is validated
  • Packaging and finishing options aligned to your brand
  • Full food-safety documentation (FSSC 22000/GMP) for every batch, ready for export
  • Direct access to Nacional/Arriba fine aroma cacao as the base ingredient — the same origin quality sold to our export customers

How It Works

01

Recipe & Volume Review

We assess your product, target volume and timeline.

02

Trial Batch

A small production run confirms recipe, texture and packaging before scaling.

03

Production Agreement

Volume, cadence and terms are set — as a bridge to your own plant or as an ongoing arrangement.

04

Ongoing Manufacturing

Recurring production runs, backed by the same fine aroma cacao supply we export worldwide.

Made in the Same Plant That Exports to Three Continents

Production runs on the same certified line operated by Byron Valencia — Agroindustrial Engineer and owner of the facility — whose own finished chocolate already reaches customers in Japan, France and the United Kingdom.

Verified Credentials

  • FSSC 22000 certified auditor
  • ISO 9001 and Global G.A.P. certified operation
  • FDA-registered food facility

What Is Private Label Chocolate Manufacturing?

Private label chocolate manufacturing means a factory produces chocolate to your specification and your recipe, sold under your brand — you own the product identity, we run the production. White label chocolate is the closely related model where the manufacturer's existing recipe is offered for several brands to label as their own; it is faster to launch, while private label gives you a product that is genuinely yours. We work in both models. In either case the manufacturing runs in a certified facility with full food-safety documentation per batch, so your brand carries export-grade credentials from the first production run.

Contract Manufacturing vs Building Your Own Plant

Chocolate contract manufacturing and plant ownership are not rivals — they are stages. A contract manufacturer (or co-manufacturer) carries the capital cost, the certifications and the production risk while you validate demand, build distribution and refine the product. Owning a plant maximizes margin and control once volume justifies it. The practical question is timing: launch under contract manufacturing, and move production in-house when the numbers support the investment. Because we offer both services, the transition is designed in from the start — the same team that manufactures your product can design the plant you eventually build, and the recipe, specifications and documentation move with you instead of starting over.

Products We Can Manufacture Under Your Brand

The line covers chocolate bars and finished formats as well as the full range of cacao derivatives: cocoa liquor (cocoa mass), cocoa butter and cocoa powder, cacao nibs, couverture and coatings for confectionery and bakery use, and ceremonial-grade cacao paste. That breadth matters for brands whose roadmap goes beyond a single bar — a producer of drinking chocolate, a wellness brand built on ceremonial cacao and a confectionery brand needing couverture can all manufacture at the same origin, under the same documentation, from the same fine aroma cacao base.

Why Manufacture at Origin, in Ecuador

Manufacturing where the cacao grows removes an entire layer of intermediaries between the farm and your finished product. Your chocolate is made from Nacional/Arriba fine aroma cacao selected at source from our allied-farm network, processed in the same facility that handles our own export production, and shipped with the export documentation already proven on three continents. For the brand, that translates into a true single-origin story that marketing cannot fake: the bar is not just made *with* Ecuadorian cacao — it is made *in* Ecuador, at the origin, by the people who selected the beans.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the minimum order for a private label run?
It depends on the product and packaging format — trial batches are sized for market testing, with clear volume steps as you scale. Tell us your target and we'll size the first run.
Can I use private label manufacturing as a bridge while I build my own plant?
Yes — this is one of the most common uses. You keep supplying your customers without interruption while your own facility is designed and certified through our Plant Setup service.
Is the cacao used the same quality sold to your export customers?
Yes. Private label production draws on the same Nacional/Arriba fine aroma cacao network — roughly 100 allied farms across Manabí, Esmeraldas and Pichincha — that supplies our direct export customers.
Do you handle packaging as well?
We can align packaging and finishing to your brand as part of the production agreement — tell us your requirements during the recipe and volume review.
Can production be certified for export to the EU or US?
Yes — every batch runs under the same FSSC 22000/GMP documentation used for our own exports, and the facility holds FDA registration for US-bound shipments.
What is the difference between private label and white label chocolate?
Private label is manufactured to your own recipe and specification — the product is unique to your brand. White label starts from our proven recipes, which you brand as your own for a faster, lower-cost launch. Many brands start white label and evolve to a private recipe once sales data shows what to refine.
Can you manufacture couverture and industrial formats, not just retail bars?
Yes. Alongside finished bars we produce couverture, coatings and cacao derivatives (liquor, butter, powder, nibs) in B2B formats for confectionery, bakery and beverage manufacturers — under your brand or as unbranded ingredient supply.
How does export logistics work from Ecuador?
Production ships from Ecuador with full export documentation — the same process our own export operation uses for Japan, France and the United Kingdom. Depending on the product we work FOB from Ecuadorian ports or coordinate the full route with your freight forwarder, including the cold-chain requirements ceremonial paste demands.
